It’s only when I spend time with the Father in prayer that my love for him grows. My calling in this life is simply to love and glorify God. When I am struggling with what my purpose is in this life that I get confused and lack faith. Its at these precise times that I need to sit down and pray.
The more I pray the deeper my peace becomes. My struggle for recognition then becomes secondary, only knowing him is my first priority. This must remain my first goal in life or I will slowly drift away from the Father. Until I begin to wonder where the Father’s touch is on my life. As soon as I wonder where his touch is then I need to sit down and pray.
It is through prayer that my strength is renewed, my spirit is soaring as one with the Father. I need to keep praying in order to keep soaring with my Father. When I lose the desire to pray then the very thing that I need to do is pray.
In my journey it is only through prayer that I come closer to the Father.
