Unfailing love

Father God loves us with an unfailing love; he only wants the best for us. Sometimes what I think is best for me is not the same as what Father God knows is best for me. We can struggle with selfishness in stead of being selfless, that is letting go of our ideas and fully accepting his.

At times it is easy to love others when everything in the garden is rosy. Many times we are put through trials to teach us to persevere so that our character is fully formed.

At these times people can say things that we take the wrong way; we can become resentful. Father God sent his only Son to die on a cross for us; so we could be forgiven. He did this without holding any resentment. We need to love others like our Father and let go of our resentments.

Only then will relationship with others be restored.

Today I chose to let go of all my resentments.

Will you let go of your resentments?

This is what is meant by walking out in freedom; letting go of the things that hold us back.

About cleavinghearts

I go to church in Troon Scotland. I want to see men from every nation rise up in Christ and be who they are called to be. I am interested in men getting together to praise and just do men's things. I also want to see women rise above their pain and turmoil so they are free to follow Jesus without the hindrances of their past.
