Getting out the boat.

Peter put faith before reason in order to walk out the boat onto the water. He heard the Lord say ‘come’ and he did exactly what he was asked to do. Peter could have went on reason and worked out that it was impossible to walk on water. He had the faith to trust what Jesus had asked him to do.

Sometimes the Father is asking us to do the impossible; that is logically impossible. We can say to ourselves that what we are asked to do is impossible; if we try it we will look stupid. When we stand on Faith we believe that God is the God of the impossible. That includes you and me doing the impossible through faith in Father God.

Noah was asked to built an ark as God wanted to save his family from the flood. He believed Father God and built it. Noah lived miles from the sea what do you think his neighbors would have said to him?

We are called to please Father God not our neighbors.

Today I chose to obey Father God and not let my neighbors convince me to disobey God. Today I will get out the boat?

Will you obey Father God today and get out your boat?

About cleavinghearts

I go to church in Troon Scotland. I want to see men from every nation rise up in Christ and be who they are called to be. I am interested in men getting together to praise and just do men's things. I also want to see women rise above their pain and turmoil so they are free to follow Jesus without the hindrances of their past.
