Father Heart of God

The Prodigal Son asked his Father for the inheritance that he was due. The Father gave it to his Son who then spent it on wild living. The Son had wasted it and ended up feeding pigs.

Yet the Father watched every day for his Son to return.

Sometimes, we as Christians seem to waste what Father God has given us, that is when the low self esteem and anxiety are at their worst.  We have ended up in the pig pen. Longing to go back to the Father’s house but the fear of rejection stops us from going

Yet our Father watches everyday for our return.

The Prodigal Son makes a decision to go back to his Father’s house. He works out what to say to his Father ‘I am no longer worthy to be called your Son’ he decides to say. I will work as one of your hired helpers. He knew he had messed up big time.

Yet the Father watched every day for his Son return.

We can feel as if we have messed up big time and no longer feel good enough to be called his Son. Are we prepared to go back to where we were and speak to the Father. What will we say to him when we meet him?

Our Father watches everyday for our return.

Will you accept that the Father’s heart is one of total love for you?

If so then go back to your Father’s house as he is waiting for you to return.

About cleavinghearts

I go to church in Troon Scotland. I want to see men from every nation rise up in Christ and be who they are called to be. I am interested in men getting together to praise and just do men's things. I also want to see women rise above their pain and turmoil so they are free to follow Jesus without the hindrances of their past.
