Joy comes in the morning

Night time is always a difficult time to have any pain, you try and sleep but your mind is always on the actual pain. You look at the clock and the hours pass so slowly. The night seems to last forever as though it has no end.

It is the same when we are in emotional pain. Every thought is about the pain around our heart. The hours during the night  can seem to last forever. The story of how we became broken hearted floods through our mind at night. We relive the pain and reopen the wound.

We need to hand over our wounded heart into the loving care of Father God. He is the one who can heal it with a touch. The trouble is we need to trust someone else with our heart.

Even Father God

Healing comes when we take the risk to trust Him with who we are deep down, the good bits as well as the bad. We bow down on our knees. Tell Father God how bad the wound is. Hand it over and don’t dwell on the  pain again.

Father God touches our wounded heart an  slowly begins to heal it. Father God sent His Son to heal the broken Hearted. Slowly the pain goes.

The darkness begins to give way to the light of a new day.

Hope awakens.

Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Today I will hand my wounded heart over to the care of Father God.

Will you trust Him with your wounded heart?

About cleavinghearts

I go to church in Troon Scotland. I want to see men from every nation rise up in Christ and be who they are called to be. I am interested in men getting together to praise and just do men's things. I also want to see women rise above their pain and turmoil so they are free to follow Jesus without the hindrances of their past.

The Psalmist captured those emotions of darkness in the night. God desires to bring healing into every part of our lives! Psalm 25:17-18: “The troubles :of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.”
