Men with Passionate Hearts

Cleaving Hearts are a group of men who have a heart to see men released into their true identity in Christ.

It came about because of the struggles I personally faced with my relationship with Father God. I struggled with relationships as I felt that I wasn’t good enough for Father God. This left me half heatedly following Jesus.

I struggled with every relationship including the one with my wife. This is because of fear, rejection and low self esteem. Jesus died to break the power of these things in our lives. I can walk out of these things into my freedom, Jesus died to set me free.

It is through the struggles that our faith is built up, although at times it seemed impossible to come out the other end. It felt as if I was in a dark place with no way out.

I read a book called Wild at Heart by John Eldridge and it changed my view of both myself and Father God. I longed for this type of relationship with Father God. I am on my way to this relationship with the Father.

I believe that if men can get together and build up a friendship then we can build a deeper friendship with Father God, simply because Jesus lives in our hearts.

This is why I wanted to do a Scottish version of a Wild at Heart Conference. First I am looking for men from Troon or wider afield in Scotland who want to do day events.
